The three stories in this omnibus tell the tale of Inquisitor Gideon Ravenor and his lethal band of operatives, whose investigations take them from the heart of the Scarus Sector to the wildest regions of space beyond, and even through time itself. Anyways; it was about this Character from Warhammer 40000-verse. The retinue is getting quite large now at least 50 strong. This is mostly because this omnibus I read recently. The Omnibus they call because it includes 3 books and 2 short stories. I finished the Eisenhorn Omnibus a few weeks ago and right now I couldn't be more hot for Warhammer 40K. The Eisenhorn Omnibus is brilliant, one of my all time 40k Favourites, it's a shame that I didn't enjoy Ravenor as much as this. Truth be told I have been wanting to do the Inquisition proper since I first started modeling,since it was the Eisenhorn Omnibus that got me back into 40k in the first place. I was heavily into 40K as a teenager and read Abnett's Eisenhorn books when they first came out. (Just discovered 'Hereticus' came out a decade ago. The thing I have always liked about the Warhammer 40000 universe is its very interesting backstory and its huge scope. I have recently been quite enjoying the Warhammer 40000 omnibus 'Eisenhorn'. In the grim far future, the Inquisition moves amongst mankind like an avenging shadow, striking down daemons, aliens and heretics with uncompromising ruthlessness.
